Where does this link really go?
Paste a link from a text or email. You'll see the real website behind it and whether it's dressed up to look like a company you know. Nothing is opened or sent anywhere.
How it decides
It uses the same rules as the NoScams iPhone app. It looks at where each link really goes (not the name in the text), whether the web address imitates a company, the kinds of web addresses scammers use, and the wording scammers reuse, like fake deadlines and unpaid fees. Messages whose links all go to the company's real website are never marked as scams.
It can't prove a message is safe, and no tool catches every scam. If a text about your account worries you, open the company's app or type their website yourself.
